Ben Jaeger is the Bar Manager at Ale House at Amato’s. A self-proclaimed hop head and home brewer, he has an extensive background in not only beer but wine. With a love for all things Colorado, Ben makes sure to stock the bar with lots of local favorites and a few beers you may have never heard of.

There’s so much great beer in Colorado, it’s hard to figure out which one is your favorite. The struggle is real.

So I’ve made it my job to create a beer lover’s paradise. You know, a destination where beer drinkers can geek out over our unique selection, order a few tasters of anything new and even take part in a beer-pairing dinner or other beer-related event.

Behind our bar, we have 42 taps of what we feel are some of the finest beers around. My staff and I hand-curate our beers – if it’s not good enough for us, it’s not good enough for our customers. We also seek out unique beers that no one else offers – some being every-other-year type brews.

Our rotation is high – once we tap out of a particular beer, we replace it with a different brewery beer. We print out a new Colorado craft beer list every day, sometimes even twice a day. If you’re wondering about our current selection, you can download a handy app called TapHunter and search for our beer list there.

For the hard-core beer connoisseur, we offer a list of bottle reserve brews. This selection is very exclusive and you won’t find these beers anywhere else.

Even if you’re not a beer aficionado, you’ll still feel right at home. Our bar is full-service and we have an extensive list of wine and cocktails. So if you like beer but you’re not feeling experimental, you can always ask for one of our familiar brews, like the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter or Wynkoop Patty’s Chile.
